We had the opportunity to work with Kelly Electric Company for the first time in early June 2006 on the Valley County Courthouse and throughout this project we established a great working relationship. Their field crew worked very well with our project supervisor, other trade contractors and the courthouse staff which continued to occupy the building throughout the duration of this project. Kelly Electric often came early, worked late or even weekends if necessary to make the necessary power changeovers to avoid disrupting the courthouse staff. We have since requested Kelly Electric to partner with us on several other projects since then and we continue to grow this relationship.
Pat Kelly has been a great help to us as we continue to pursue projects where we are hired for Design-Build or Construction Management. We often need to give Owners a preliminary budget for their project, having very little information besides a floor plan and some discussion on equipment and gear. These budgets need to be a little conservative, but can not be excessive or the project could take a drastic changes which might prevent the Owner from getting what they want. Pat has worked very hard to provide us with reasonable electrical budgets which are realistic and informative. Kelly Electric often puts in many hours in helping us with these budgets without having any guarantee they will be selected as the trade contractor for these projects.
Our philosophy of client service is based on establishing a partnership between the Owner, Architect, the trade contractors and Beckenhauer Construction. We have enjoyed working with Kelly Electric Company as a partner on several projects the past two years and we hope to continue to build a great working relationship for many years to come.
